Policy Best Practices for Successful Federal Grant Applications Online

The State of Vermont, including the Department of Libraries, has an updated risk Subrecipient Risk Assessment Tool for use when granting federal funds. Subrecipient Risk Assessment Tool

This new tool takes into consideration policies and procedures of an organization that help it comply with federal grant guidance. For example, having policies on procurement, conflict of interest, and procedures for record retention can help an organization to receive a lower risk determination on their State of Vermont grant application.

Join Department staff, who will share example policies that your library board can use as a starting point for adopting its own policies. There will be time for Q&A. This webinar will be recorded and posted on Niche Academy, the department’s learning management system.

Library staff and trustees are encouraged to attend and to share the invitation with local municipal grant administrators.
