Connecting Older Adults to Health Information Online
Please join guest presenter Bennie Finch, Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine in Region 7, for this webinar on websites and data sources to help library staff respond to requests for health information from and about older adults. In addition to evaluating older adult data at the local, state, and national level, it will also cover programming ideas to address the health information needs of older adults.
Sites that will be introduced include MedlinePlus, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, the National Institute on Aging, County Health Rankings and the Congressional District Health Dashboard. Content will be curated to be Vermont focused and relevant to libraries of all sizes.
