Summer Meal Programs Information Session Online
On Monday, April 21, from 1-2:30pm staff from the Agency of Education and Hunger Free Vermont will join the Department of Libraries to present a virtual information session about the Summer Food Service Program (also known as Summer Meals) and other free meal programs in Vermont. They will discuss how to find existing programs in your communities and ways libraries can partner with site administrators such as school districts and municipalities to serve as meal sites. Please register for the Summer Meals Information Session even if you are unable to attend, in order to receive the webinar recording which will be posted to the Department’s Niche Academy. Together, we can work to end malnutrition and hunger for all Vermonters.
Please note: To comply with state regulations and protect student privacy, we do not admit AI notetakers in Department of Libraries Continuing Education events. Slides for all presentations will be provided and posted on Niche Academy
Vermont Department of Library programs are funded, in part, through the Institute of Museum and Library Services' LSTA Grants to States.
