Health Literacy: Empowering Community Members to Make Informed Health Decisions Online

Join us for this introductory workshop for public librarians on the fundamentals of health literacy and its impact on health outcomes for Vermonters; the crucial role librarians can play in supporting health literacy in their communities; tips and resources to better help their patrons with their health information needs; and how to host a health literacy session in their home libraries. Presented by University of Vermont Libraries community outreach manager, Maria Avery, in partnership with Vermont Department of Libraries.
