Cataloging - OCLC's WorldShare Metadata Services Online

OCLC’s WorldShare Metadata Services is replacing the CatExpress Connexion interface on April 30th, 2024. This is a database that allows for the downloading of high quality MARC Records to use in copy-cataloging. If you have an account for CatExpress through the VTLIB Buying Group this change will effect you. Users of the Windows-based Connexion client can continue to use the locally installed Connexion client for their cataloging workflows. To allieviate some stress around learning a new interface, VTLIB's Lauren Kelley will be showing how this new interface works, highlighting some resources, and taking questions. This event will be recorded.
